As work at 2144 California Street, NW moves forward, DC Water would like to inform you that our contractor will be performing some work at this location this coming Wednesday, October 31, beginning at 9:00pm. Specifically, we will be connecting newly installed 8-inch water main into the drinking water system, and also connecting water service lines to the new main. This portion of work is scheduled to last for approximately 8 hours, concluding by 5:00am on Thursday, November 1.
Please be advised that water services will be interrupted at the following addresses during this work:
2100 block of California Street, NW
1914 Connecticut Avenue, NW
All affected addresses have been notified of this work and pending water shut off.
